Over Memorial Day weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Kateri & Billy’s wedding. Their venue was a photographer’s dream. The original plan was for an outdoor ceremony at the property’s pond, but Mother Nature had different ideas. It was cold…not just better grab a hoodie cold, but wind whipping, skin numbing cold and rainy. BUT, the show must go on! The ceremony was moved into the old barn, and let me tell you, I’m so happy it was. The setting was so intimate and romantic. After the ceremony the sun was shining and the skies were gorgeous so the family and wedding party, troopers that they were, popped outside for some shots. The highlight of the evening, however, was the fireworks display. What a phenomenal way to end the evening!
Congratulations Kateri & Billy! Here’s to many years of wedded bliss.
